Directions (100 portions):
  • Add 2 bags of Vegetable Protein Crumbles and 2 bags of Seasoning Blend to 3 gallons of water mix well.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat and stir while simmering for 20-25 minutes.
  • Use in place of cooked ground beef in your favorite recipes.

Ingredients: 
Vegetable Protein Crumbles: Soy Protein Concentrate, malt extract. 
 Seasoning Blend: Yeast extract, maltodextrin, malt extract, onion powder, chili powder, tomato powder, garlic powder, torula yeast, natural flavors, malic acid. Not more than 2% silicon dioxide added to prevent caking.

Serving Suggestions: 
Serve over pasta or on a bun. Mix with your favorite tomato sauce for a tasty and easy meatless, meat sauce.

Try this recipe
Sloppy Joes: Use 1 case Burger Bits with 2 Qts ketchup, 1½ C vegetable oil, 1 C Worcestershire Sauce, 8 C minced onions, 8 C celery, 8 C diced green bell peppers, 2 Qts water, 100 sandwich buns, toasted. Directions: Prepare Burger Bits according to above instructions; keep warm. Saute onions, celery, and bell pepper in oil for 5 minutes or until translucent. Add ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and water. Simmer for 15 minutes, add prepared Burger Bits and simmer for 2 more minutes. Serve over toasted sandwich buns.
